Childcare Schedule

Note that this schedule is not set, especially for children under 18 months. Their play, nap and eating schedules are adapted into our program and we work with each family individually to ensure that each little one is getting the nutrition, rest and play they individually need.

7:00 Open/Center time

8:00 Breakfast

8:20 Wash up time/Diaper changes/potty time and clean up

8:30 Science activities/ center time

9:00 Circle time/group activities (Attendance is taken at this time, please call if your child is not coming in. Developmentally appropriate lessons are tied in the music, art and story time and incorporated into the learning centers)

9:55 Clean up/wash up/ diaper changes/ potty

10:00 Snack

10:15 Wash up

10:30 Art time (open ended creative art process not product art)

10:45 Center Time/outside free play (if weather does not look good for pm. Children get to select from child-initiated games using balls, hoops, ropes, chalk, bubbles.)

11:45 Wash Up time/ Diaper changes/potty time

12:00 Lunch/ eat lunch and clean up

12:30 Wash up/clean up/nap or quiet time (quiet activity prior to nap: story, song by teacher, or quiet music or audio story)

2:30 Wash Up time/ Diaper changes/potty time

3:00 Snack (if there is a birthday party it is held now and goes to 3:30)

3:30 Outside recess or Center time (children get a chance to select from riding toys, slide, sand, water play, mud play and gardening)

4:40 Wash up/potty time

4:50 Story time/ songs/wrap up for the day

5:00 Dinner

5:30 Wash up/Center time/clean up

7:00 Close

Specials: Yoga (Monday), Spanish (Tuesday), Exploration Time (Wednesday), Spanish (Thursday) and Music Together (Friday) programs part of the weekly curriculum.
